Vehicle description
This 1976 Ford Bronco was purchased new by the seller’s father and is said to have been placed in storage in 2006. It is finished in Mecca Gold over Parchment vinyl and is powered by a 302ci V8 mated to a three-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Additional features include 15″ steel wheels, power steering, a white hardtop, white bumpers, and a heater. The truck now shows 68k miles, and the starter and battery were replaced in preparation for the sale. This Bronco is offered with a Deluxe Marti report, a copy of the 1976 bill of sale, the owner’s manual, and a clean Illinois title in the seller’s name.
The truck is finished in Mecca Gold and features a white removable hardtop, a tow ball, a right fender-mounted side mirror, and white bumpers. Damage is noted on the grille and roof.
The 15″ steel wheels are mounted with Steel Belted Radial tires. The truck came equipped from the factory with power steering. Stopping power is provided by front discs and rear drums. The seller states that the brakes are not powered, although it is listed on the Deluxe Marti report shown below.
The cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench trimmed in Parchment vinyl, and amenities include a heater, black vinyl floor coverings, and wind-up windows. Rust-through is visible on the floors.
Instrumentation includes a 100-mph speedometer and auxiliary gauges for amperage, fuel level, coolant temperature, and oil pressure. The five-digit odometer shows 68k miles, all of which were added under current ownership.
The 302ci V8 was factory rated at 125 horsepower and 218 lb-ft of torque. The battery and starter were replaced in preparation for the sale. The seller states the engine overheats.
Power is routed to the rear or all four wheels via a three-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. The clutch is noted to shudder.
A copy of the Deluxe Marti report is shown above and lists factory equipment and production information as well as a build date of July 22, 1976.
