Vehicle description
This 2014 Ferrari LaFerrari is one of 500 examples built worldwide. It was delivered new to Wide World of Cars in Spring Valley, New York, and was purchased by its current owner in 2016. The car is finished in Grigio Silverstone over red leather upholstery with black accents, and power comes from a naturally aspirated 6.3-liter V12 paired with an electric motor that combined for a factory-rated output of 950 horsepower and 664 lb-ft of torque. A seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission sends power to the rear wheels, and additional equipment includes an E-Diff3 electronic differential, electromagnetic dampers, Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes, 19″ and 20″ forged alloy wheels, a sport exhaust system, carbon-fiber trim, and a rear camera and parking sensors. An annual service that included an oil change was performed by Maserati of Palm Beach, Florida, in April 2022. This LaFerrari has 710 miles and is now offered on dealer consignment with a window sticker, factory books, a Ferrari “Attestation for Special Series Vehicles” book, a battery charger, service records, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Florida title in the owner’s name.
The LaFerrari was designed under Flavio Manzoni for Centro Stile Ferrari and was unveiled at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show. It was developed as a technological showcase to celebrate the automaker’s 70th anniversary and served as the brand’s flagship model like the 288 GTO, F40, F50, and Enzo before it.
The LaFerrari utilizes a carbon-fiber monocoque structure designed by Ferrari’s F1 technical director Rory Byrne. This example is finished in special-order Grigio Silverstone and features a quad-exit exhaust, a rear camera and parking sensors, enamel Scuderia Ferrari door shields, and bi-xenon headlights as well as carbon-fiber lower trim, a $21,276 option.
The five-spoke forged alloy wheels feature center-lock hubs and are mounted with 265/30ZR19 front and 345/30ZR20 rear Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires that were installed by Ferrari of Palm Beach in April 2021. The LaFerrari features a double-wishbone suspension up front and a multi-link setup out back, and it is equipped with E-SCM electromagnetic dampers, CST traction and stability control, multiple driving modes, and speed-sensitive steering. Stopping power is provided by red-painted Ferrari/Brembo multi-piston calipers over 398mm front and 380mm rear carbon-ceramic rotors. Fresh brake fluid was added in April 2022.
The cockpit features bucket seats trimmed in red leather with black accents as well a red leather lower dash panel and door pulls. The dashboard, headliner, and center console armrest are trimmed in black Alcantara, and carbon-fiber trim is found on the dashboard, door panels, sills, and center console. Additional equipment includes air conditioning, a Bluetooth stereo, and a USB port.
The Alcantara- and carbon-fiber-trimmed steering wheel sits ahead of column-mounted carbon-fiber paddle shifters and features an engine-start button, a manettino driving-mode selector, and shift lights. The digital tachometer with a 9k-rpm redline is flanked by configurable digital screens. The digital odometer shows 710 miles.
The mid-mounted 6.3-liter V12 features variable-length intake runners and a 13.5:1 compression ratio. An oil-cooled electric motor is mounted on the back of the transmission, and the liquid-cooled lithium-ion battery pack is located aft of the passenger compartment where it also acts as a structural element. An annual service that included an oil change was performed by Maserati of Palm Beach, Florida, in April 2022.
Power is sent to the rear wheels via a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and an E-Diff3 electronic differential.
The window sticker shows delivery to Wide World of Cars and lists standard equipment and options for a total suggested retail price of $1,447,511.
The Ferrari “Attestation for Special Series Vehicles” book features technical specifications as well as factory photos and is included in the sale.
The Carfax report shows history in New York and Florida from November 2014 to April 2022 and lists no accidents or other damage.
