This 1992 Porsche 911 America Roadster is one of the 250 built during a two-year production run to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the 356 America Roadster. The car was initially delivered to Pegasus Motorcars in Charlottesville, Virginia, and shows ownership history in Nebraska, Texas, California, and Washington. The 3.6-liter flat-six was removed from the car for service in April 2022 and a valve adjustment was performed and the valve cover gaskets, the chain cover gaskets, drive belts, and ignition components were replaced. Concurrently, the G50 five-speed manual transaxle received a replacement flywheel, clutch assembly, and slave cylinder. The 3.6-liter flat-six was factory rated at 247 horsepower and 228 lb-ft of torque. An engine-out service was performed by Cantrell Motorsports in Bellevue, Washington in April 2022, which included performing a valve adjustment as well as replacing the valve cover gaskets, the chain cover gaskets, the intermediate shaft seal, drive belts, an oxygen sensor, spark plugs, the ignition rotor, distributor components, various seals, and the hood insulation pad. The timing chain boxes were resealed in September 2024, at which time an inspection was conducted.
