This 2012 Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Black Series was initially registered in Pennsylvania and was acquired by the current owner as a Mercedes-Benz Certified Pre-Owned vehicle in 2016. It is powered by a 6.2-liter M156 V8 paired with a seven-speed AMG Speedshift MCT automatic transmission and is finished in Iridium Silver Metallic over black Dinamica and MB-Tex upholstery. Black Series-specific equipment includes a revised engine control unit, a lightened crankshaft, and forged pistons and connecting rods as well as an adjustable suspension and a revised hood, bumper covers, and wider fender flares. This example was ordered with the Aerodynamics and Black Series AMG Track packages and is further equipped with a limited-slip differential, 19″ AMG forged alloy wheels, a panoramic sunroof, heated front sport seats, Keyless-Go, navigation, and a Harman Kardon sound system. Exterior features specific to the Black Series include a vented hood, wider fender flares, and revised bumper covers. This example is finished in Iridium Silver Metallic (775) and equipped with the optional Aerodynamics Package, which added front winglets, an extended front splitter, and an adjustable carbon-fiber rear wing. Staggered-width gray-finished 19″ AMG forged wheels have machined-silver faces and are mounted with Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires. The AMG Performance Braking System features red-finished AMG-branded calipers mounted over cross-drilled and slotted rotors.

The 6.2-liter M156 V8 was factory-equipped with a recalibrated ECU, a lightened crankshaft, and forged pistons and connecting rods. Output was factory rated at 510 horsepower and 457 lb-ft of torque, which is routed to the rear wheels through a seven-speed AMG Speedshift MCT automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential. The Black Series AMG Track Package added an active rear differential cooler.
