This 2005 Mercedes-Benz CLK500 coupe remained in the care of its original owner until January 2024, and it has 29k miles following registration history in Florida. It is finished in Mars Red over beige leather and is powered by a 5.0-liter V8 paired with a seven-speed automatic transmission. Features include a sunroof, 17″ five-spoke AMG wheels, power-adjustable front seats, a six-disc CD changer, a Harman Kardon sound system, and dual-zone automatic climate control. This C209 CLK500 is now offered in Georgia by the selling dealer at no reserve with the owner’s manual, service records, a car cover, spare parts, and a clean Florida title.
The car is finished in Mars Red (590) and features AMG-styled lower bodywork, a sunroof, fog lights, rain-sensing windshield wipers, power-adjustable heated side mirrors, and a single polished exhaust outlet. The Carfax report lists “minor damage” to the front in a February 2024 entry. Work in preparation for the sale included paintless dent repairs, repainting the front bumper cover, and replacing fender liners as well as the headlight seals and side mirror power adjusters.
The 17″ five-spoke AMG wheels were reportedly refinished in preparation for the sale and are mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4 tires, which show date codes from 2020. The car is equipped with an Electronic Stability Program (ESP) as well as an independent front and multilink rear suspension. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel discs.
The cabin features 10-way power-adjustable front seats trimmed in beige leather, which extends to the door panels. Interior amenities include front seat position memory, a glovebox-mounted six-disc CD changer, a Harman Kardon sound system, cruise control, 60/40-split folding rear seat backs, a rear-window sunshade, and dual-zone automatic climate control.
The leather- and wood-trimmed four-spoke steering wheel frames VDO instrumentation including a central 160-mph speedometer with an inset digital display along with a 7k-rpm tachometer, an analog clock, and readouts for coolant temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 29k miles.
The 5.0-liter M113 SOHC 24-valve V8 was factory rated at 302 horsepower and 339 lb-ft of torque. Work in preparation for the sale included an oil change and replacing the air filter, cabin filter, hood pad, battery, valve cover gaskets, and serpentine belt and tensioners.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a seven-speed automatic transmission with Touch Shift.
The Carfax report shows the aforementioned damage report and an open recall. Odometer readings of 39,202 miles and 42,000 miles were recorded in September 2023 and January 2024, respectively.
