This 1985 Jeep Grand Wagoneer was registered in Missouri and Oklahoma before it was acquired by the seller in 2023. A subsequent refurbishment included performing body repairs, refinishing the truck in two-stage red, reupholstering the seats in Katzkin leather, servicing the brakes, and fitting the 360ci V8 with electronic ignition and a Holley Sniper electronic fuel-injection system, and replacing the tires as well as installing a Clarion multimedia stereo, aftermarket speakers, and a replacement headliner and carpets. The truck is further equipped with a three-speed automatic transmission, a dual-range transfer case, a roof rack, a power tailgate window, woodgrain vinyl trim, 15″ forged aluminum wheels, air conditioning, cruise control, and power-adjustable front seats along with power windows, door locks, and mirrors. This Grand Wagoneer is offered with a window sticker, factory literature, service records, refurbishment photos, spare and removed parts, a clean Carfax report, and a Kansas title in the seller’s name.
The truck left the factory finished in Garnet Metallic Clear Coat, and it was refinished in two-stage red following body repairs that involved replacing the left-front fender as well as patching the rear quarter panels. Additional exterior details include a roof rack, a power tailgate window, woodgrain vinyl trim, and power-adjustable side mirrors. According to the seller, a majority of the weatherstripping was replaced as part of the refurbishment.
Forged aluminum 15″ wheels were reportedly mounted with 235/75 Hankook Dynapro AT2 Xtreme tires as part of the refurbishment, at which time the brakes were serviced and a replacement rear brake line was installed. The truck is equipped with a front track bar in addition to front and rear anti-roll bars.
The seats were reupholstered in brown Katzkin leather as part of the refurbishment, at which time the headliner and carpets were replaced. Woodgrain trim accents the red dashboard and door panels, and appointments include air conditioning, cruise control, a folding center armrest, power-adjustable front seats, and a Clarion multimedia stereo linked to aftermarket speakers as well as power windows and door locks.
The three-spoke steering wheel frames a 100-mph speedometer and gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and voltage. The six-digit odometer shows 57k miles, approximately 100 of which were added under current ownership.
The 360ci V8 was fitted with electronic ignition and a Holley Sniper fuel-injection system as part of the refurbishment. Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission and a Selec-Trac four-wheel-drive system using a shift-on-the-fly dual-range transfer case with a viscous coupling.
Corrosion is visible on various underbody components.
The included window sticker displays initial delivery to Bynum Motors Inc. of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma, and it lists factory colors and equipment along with a total MSRP of $21,810. Factory literature, spare and removed parts, and service records will also accompany the truck.
Photos illustrating various stages of the refurbishment can be viewed in the gallery below.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists limited history in Missouri, Oklahoma, and Kansas.
The truck’s Kansas title carries an “antique” brand and notation.
