This 1970 Ford Mustang Boss 302 was initially delivered to Bob Reed Ford of Denver, Colorado. The car was refurbished under prior ownership and underwent a color change from green over green to red over black. Power is provided by a 302ci V8 paired with a four-speed manual transmission, and equipment includes a Traction-Lok differential, 15″ Magnum 500-style wheels, power-assisted front disc brakes, and a Hurst shifter. This Boss 302 is now offered on dealer consignment with a Marti Report and a clean California title.
The car was factory-finished in Lime Metallic and later refinished in red. Features include hockey stick side stripes, racing-style mirrors, front and rear spoilers, rear window louvers, and dual exhaust outlets. Per the Marti Report, it was not optioned with a shaker hood. The 15″ Magnum 500-style wheels are mounted with BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires. Braking is handled by power-assisted front disc brakes and rear drums. The car is equipped with power steering and KYB Gas-a-Just shocks.
The cabin was originally trimmed in Medium Ivy Green and was reupholstered in black. Interior appointments include front bucket seats, a Sport Deck rear bench, woodtone instrument panel appliques, a Hurst shifter, and a heater. The AM/FM radio does not work.
The two-spoke steering wheel frames a 120-mph speedometer, a tachometer, a coolant temperature gauge, and a fuel-level gauge. The five-digit odometer shows 64k miles.
The 302ci V8 was factory rated at 290 horsepower and is equipped with a four-barrel carburetor, a Ford Motorsport air cleaner, and an MSD ignition coil.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission and a Traction-Lok differential.
