This 1961 Chevrolet Corvette has been in the seller’s family since new and was acquired in 2022 after spending more than a decade off the road. Subsequent work involved refreshing the beige interior in addition to replacing the tires and components for the braking, fuel, cooling, and exhaust systems. Power is provided by a 283ci V8 paired with a two-speed automatic transmission. The car is finished in beige and equipped with 15″ steel wheels, Edelbrock valve covers, Flowmaster mufflers, and a heater. This C1 Corvette is now offered with a clean Oregon title in the seller’s name.
The car is finished in beige and equipped with quad headlights and polished bumpers and trim. The seller reports that front-end damage was repaired under prior ownership and there is evidence that the car has been refinished. Noted flaws include blemishes in the chrome, paint chips, and a misaligned hood and front bumper.
Steel 15″ wheels feature simulated knock-off spinner covers and are mounted with 205/75 Coker Classic tires that were installed under current ownership. The brakes and master cylinder are also said to have been replaced.
The cockpit houses two bucket seats that were reupholstered in beige vinyl after the seller’s acquisition, and the dashpad, carpets, and door panels were also replaced at that time. The Wonder Bar AM radio and the analog clock do not work, and there are loose door panel screws.
The three-spoke steering wheel wears a two-tone wrap and frames a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature, amperage, oil pressure, and fuel level. The seller notes neither The five-digit odometer shows 40k miles, approximately 250 of which were added under current ownership.
The 283ci V8 is equipped with Edelbrock valve covers. Service reported following the seller’s acquisition involved replacing the fuel tank, radiator, heater core, and exhaust system.
