This 1972 Ford Bronco began life as a half-cab pickup and was modified and refurbished under prior ownership, including the installation of a 351ci Windsor V8, an NP435 four-speed manual transmission, a Dana 20 dual-range transfer case, and a limited-slip differential. The truck has been repainted black and is fitted with a black soft top, LED headlights, a roll bar, and rear wheel arch extensions. It rides on 15″ turbine-style wheels and is equipped with a James Duff suspension lift with dual shocks, a body lift, power steering, and front disc brakes. The interior has been reupholstered in black and tan leather and houses a Vintage Air air conditioning system, a center console with cupholders, and a wood-rimmed steering wheel. This Bronco was acquired by the current owner in 2022 and is now offered in Portland, Oregon on dealer consignment with a clean Montana title.
The truck was repainted black and modified with cut fenders, a smoothed hood, a black grille, LED headlights, and bolt-on rear wheel arch extensions under prior ownership. A removable black soft top with zip-down tinted windows is fitted.
The turbine-style 15″ American Racing wheels are wrapped in BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain tires measuring 33×12.5″. The truck is equipped with power steering and Warn manually locking front hubs, and stopping power is provided by front disc and rear drum brakes. A James Duff 3.5″ lift has been added along with a 2″ body lift and dual shocks at each corner. The front brake hoses were replaced in September 2024.
The cabin features bucket seats and a rear bench that have been reupholstered in black and tan leather. An under-dash Vintage Air air conditioning unit has been installed along with a roll bar, a black center console with cupholders, and a T-handle transfer case shifter. The glove box latch and horn were repaired in preparation for the sale.
The wood-rimmed steering wheel is mounted on a custom column and fronts white gauges, including a 100-mph speedometer encircled by auxiliary gauges for voltage, fuel level, coolant temperature, and oil pressure. The five-digit odometer shows 6k miles. Total mileage is unknown.
The 351ci Windsor V8 was installed under prior ownership and features an Edelbrock Performer aluminum intake manifold, a Howards camshaft, electronic ignition, stainless-steel headers, and a dual exhaust system. Cooling is via an aluminum radiator, and an Edelbrock 750-cfm carburetor was fitted in preparation for the sale. Compression test results are viewable in the gallery.
Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a New Process 435 four-speed manual transmission, a Dana 20 dual-range transfer case, a Dana 44 front axle, and a 9″ rear end with a limited-slip differential with a 4.11:1 final drive ratio. The underside has been coated in a spray-on bedliner material and the frame has been powder coated.
