Vehicle description
This 2009 Rossion Q1 is powered by a twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter Ford Duratec V6 mated to a six-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential, and it was acquired by the seller on BaT in October 2022. It is finished in light gray over black and gray leather and microsuede upholstery, and equipment includes carbon-Kevlar body panels, 18″ forged alloy wheels, an adjustable coilover suspension, a rear wing, STV Motorsports racing harnesses, a MOMO steering wheel, power windows and locks, air conditioning, and a Pioneer Bluetooth head unit linked to Polk Audio speakers. This Rossion Q1 has 7k miles and is now offered with a clean New Jersey title in the seller’s name describing the car as a 2019 REC.
Rossion built the Q1 from 2008 to 2018 after acquiring the rights to the Noble M400’s chassis design, and the body panels are manufactured from a carbon-Kevlar composite. This example is finished in light gray and features include a front splitter, a rear wing partnered with an integrated spoiler, air inlets ahead of each rear wheel, carbon-fiber engine vents, a rear diffuser, and dual exhaust outlets. The front clamshell was replaced with a carbon-fiber piece after the car hit a guardrail under prior ownership. A chip on the rear wing and cracked paint near the gas cap are noted.
Forged 18″ alloy wheels wear a dark gray finish and are mounted with 245/35 front and 295/30 rear Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires showing 2018 production date codes. Two tires have a slow leak. The car rides on a coilover suspension. Braking is provided by AP Racing calipers fitted over two-piece slotted rotors, and the rotors and pads are said to have been replaced in April 2022.
The cockpit features manually adjustable carbon-fiber bucket seats that are trimmed in black and dark gray leather and microsuede. STV Motorsport racing harnesses were installed under prior ownership, and further details include air conditioning, power windows and locks, and a Polk sound system connected to a Pioneer touchscreen Bluetooth head unit with navigation.
The MOMO steering wheel fronts a 200-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for boost pressure, coolant temperature, fuel level, oil pressure, and oil temperature. The digital odometer indicates 7k miles, approximately 1k of which were added under current ownership. A device mounted to the steering column displays readouts for tire pressure, though tire pressure monitoring sensors are not installed on two of the wheels.
The twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter Ford Duratec V6 features an aluminum block, dual overhead camshafts on each bank, and sequential fuel injection. Rossion quoted maximum power output of 450 horsepower and 490 lb-ft of torque when new. An oil change was performed in April 2023. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Getrag six-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential.
The current New Jersey title lists the vehicle as a 2019 REC under the VIN MVIN370848IND, which matches the Rossion serial number shown above.
