A SPAL electric cooling fan activated via the air conditioning button has been installed along with a custom-fabricated exhaust system with high-flow catalytic converters and a Magnaflow muffler. Around the time of installation, PCV delete and oil filter relocation kits were installed and the water pump, alternator, fuel lines, and fuel injectors are said to have been replaced. Work in 2024 has included re-wiring the starter motor and replacing the valve lifters along with the oil pan, water pump gasket, and battery.
A ZF five-speed manual transmission sourced from a 530i model has been installed on polyurethane mounts and is said to have been fitted with a custom double-shear selector rod and replacement detents. Further driveline modifications reportedly include a lightweight flywheel, an M5-specification clutch assembly, and a Z3-sourced limited-slip differential with 3.23:1 gearing. Corrosion is visible on exhaust-system components, and the seller notes that an exhaust hanger is loose.
