This 1984 Mercedes-Benz 300D Turbo was initially sold at Mercedes Benz of Hollywood in November 1983 and was relocated to Oregon by the second owner, who retained ownership up until their passing. The car was purchased by the current owner in March 2023 from the estate sale, and it shows 176k miles. It is powered by a 3.0-liter turbodiesel inline-five paired with a four-speed automatic transmission and is finished in Black over Palomino MB-Tex. Features include a sunroof, dual side mirrors, 14″ Bundt alloy wheels, and cruise control. This W123 300D Turbo is now offered on dealer consignment at no reserve with the owner’s manual, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Washington title.
Chrome-finished 14″ Bundt alloy wheels show signs of pitting and are mounted with Michelin Defender tires. Stopping power is provided by disc brakes at each corner.
The cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench upholstered in Palomino MB-Tex, while wood veneer accents the dashboard and the center stack. Interior equipment includes a Becker Grand Prix cassette stereo, power windows, cruise control, and automatic climate control. The driver’s seat shows signs of wear, the radio does not work, and the air conditioning system does not blow cold.
Instrumentation consists of a 125-mph speedometer and a 6k-rpm tachometer as well as an analog clock and gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 176k miles, approximately 2k of which were added under current ownership. The instrument cluster lighting does not work.
The 3.0-liter turbodiesel inline-five was factory rated at 123 horsepower and 184 lb-ft of torque. An oil change was performed, the fuel filter was replaced, and the fuel system was bled in January 2024. The seller notes that the water pump was replaced in preparation of the sale.
